Congressman Beyer's Resource Fair for Federal Workers and Contractors

As the Trump Administration conducts its mass purge of workers on what I regard as phony and made-up justifications, placing huge numbers of workers on administrative leave, and destroying whole agencies in, I believe, clear violation of law – I continue to hear from you about how these actions are driving severe uncertainty and negatively impacting your livelihood. This is why I’ve organized a resource fair to support federal workers and contractors tomorrow, March 8th from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Wakefield High School in Arlington. This event, held in partnership with the City of Alexandria, the City of Falls Church, Arlington County, and Fairfax County, will offer information and resources on federal workers’ rights, unemployment assistance, financial and career counseling, mental health support, housing information, food assistance, and more. |
