Paid Internships

Thank you for your interest in an internship with Congressman Beyer’s office. Interns will experience the legislative process and the operations of the Congressman’s Washington, DC office by working with staff on issues and interacting with constituents. Each intern works on a variety of tasks, including conducting legislative research, assisting with correspondence, attending hearings and briefings, and performing general administrative duties.

We are currently accepting applications for our 2025 Summer Internship Program, which is divided into two sessions and will last from May to August. The first session will start in early May and end in June, the second session will start in early July and end in August (exact dates are flexible). Priority is given to applicants from Virginia's 8th Congressional District, but all are welcome to apply.
