Congressman Don Beyer (D-VA) is an outspoken defender of Roe v. Wade protections and abortion rights, which he views as both essential access to health care and a major issue of economic equality.

He voted to codify Roe v. Wade protections via the Women's Health Protection Act in September of 2021, legislation which as of writing is expected to receive new consideration soon in the Senate.

He also supports reform of the Supreme Court.
