Earth Day is a reminder of our responsibility to take care of our planet, and we have our work cut out for us! Donald Trump's attacks on our environment to protect the interests of his rich oil friends are many, but let me explain just 10 of them:

He didn't answer my question, and instead bragged about a Yale-educated physician who's in charge of these funding cuts.

The ALERT Act is coming to the House Floor for a vote. I'll be voting YES. This bill would implement all 50 recommendations in the NTSB's final report on last year’s January 29 collision at National Airport, which tragically took 67 lives. This bill is major improvement on current aviation safety policy, but there are still legitimate gaps and concerns. As this bill advances, I urge my colleagues to make improvements, close loopholes, and prioritize safety for all over convenience for some.

The administration’s exemption of oil and gas operations from the Endangered Species Act is illegal, and does little to solve the energy crisis created by Trump's illegal war in Iran. I'm working on legislation to reverse this decision and protect endangered species in the Gulf.
