President Donald Trump Is Impeached By The House Of Representatives

Today the United States House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald J. Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Rep. Don Beyer (D-VA) voted for both articles of impeachment.

Beyer spoke on the floor during the House debate, telling colleagues that a vote to impeach President Trump “would stand the test of time.” [Video]

President Donald J. Trump is the third U.S. President to be impeached by the House of Representatives under the powers granted to that body by Article I of the United States Constitution.
