Resources for Federal Employees

Dear Friend,

Like many of you, I am outraged by President Trump and Elon Musk’s lies and attacks on the work, character, and patriotism of federal employees and contractors in order to justify their crusade against the very people who make our government run.

This bile has been matched by actions that have targeted the civil service: Schedule F, a return to office mandate on an unrealistic timeline and without infrastructure designed to maximize attrition and chaos, unjustified terminations, placing blameless staff on administrative leave and creating a culture of fear and retaliation, the unprecedented and likely unlawful ‘deferred resignation’ offer, and large-scale reductions in force.

Please know that your work is essential to the functioning of the U.S. government. The Trump Administration and his allies who continuously attack the valuable work you do are out of touch with reality and seem to want to break the government to prove their delusional narrative that the government isn’t functional and replace civil servants with political cronies and business associates.

It’s my hope that the resources provided below will address your questions and concerns, and provide you with as much information as possible. This page will continue to be updated as we navigate the changes brought by the new administration.

If you feel you need assistance with a federal agency, please fill out this online request form. You can always speak to a member of my team at (202) 225-4376.

Sincerely,
Don Beyer
